Suppose you didn’t “need” to eat all the food you now eat or the kinds of food you now eat. Suppose you were able to stop eating when you had enough food for nourishment. Suppose you didn’t feel a “need” to put food, no matter how appetizing, in your mouth. Suppose you didn’t have to eat snacks when you see them. Suppose when you bought your kids fries, you didn’t even care if you tasted them, or if you went to a dinner party and didn’t care if you had the terrific looking dessert. Suppose you didn’t have to eat the foods you now crave and look forward to eating but which keep your overweight. Sounds impossible, doesn’t it? Yes, it’s impossible today. However, once you eliminate or “divorce” your Emotional Need For Food, it’s not only possible, it’s automatic. Food will just be food. It may be difficult for you to believe today because you only know one way of eating. You are looking at things from the emotional perspective of a 150-pound woman who is eating, and weighs what she weighs, for emotional reasons. However, your emotional perspective will change. |
